The next big thing in worldwide music, Lianne La Havas, who is of Greek origin and is known for her characteristic neo-folk voice, will give an atmospheric performance at the SNFCC’s Great Lawn.

Born in London to a Greek father and a Jamaican mother, Lianne La Havas rose to fame thanks to her collaboration with Prince and Paloma Faith, but also, through her support slot on Coldplay’s A Head Full of Dreams tour in 2016.

Her first album, Is Your Love Big Enough? was named album of the year at the iTunes Best of 2012 Awards. In 2015, she released her second album, Blood, which earned her a Grammy Awards nomination (Best Urban Contemporary Album) and a BRIT Awards nomination (Best British Female Solo Artist).

La Havas began singing at the age of 7 and by the time she was 11 she had already written her first song. Her father, a fellow musician himself, taught her the basics of guitar and piano. Her real surname is Barnes and her stage name is an adaptation of her father Henry Vlahavas’ name. Lianne currently lives in London.
