Alexi Murdoch

Greek-born, indie folk singer Alexi Murdoch, performs in Greece for the first time, as part of the Summer Nostos Festival, to mesmerize Athenians with his smooth and soulful voice at the SNFCC’s Great Lawn. Though Murdoch performs rarely, when he does, he is frequently hosted by the world's most prestigious venues.

Over the past decade he has played to sold out audiences at London's Union Chapel, Berlin's Admiralspalast, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series in New York City, the Montreal Jazz Festival, Scotland's Edinburgh Festival & Mexico City's Lunario del Auditorio Nacional.

Even those who have never heard of Murdoch’s name before are probably familiar with his music through cinema (Away We Go, Real Steel, Garden State, Gone Baby Gone), television (Prison Break, Ugly Betty, Grey’s Anatomy, House) and TV commercials.

This year, he released his first music after a long absence, a cover of the Roy Harper song Another Day.
