Spyros Chronis
Member of the SNF Global Center Youth Advisory Council
Spyros Chronis, born in 2006, grew up in a rural, isolated mountainous region, a place often overlooked in the past, an experience that fueled an early and profound eagerness to expand his horizons and champion social change. Currently he is a student at the University of Macedonia, specializing in International Relations with a focus on the political specificities of Southeastern Europe and the Middle East. He has served as a live presenter for theatrical productions and events in professional theaters, hosting discussions on politics, history, and poetry. This foundation in public communication and academic rigor paved the way for his involvement with global advocacy. A member of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Initiative’s YES program (the Youth Engagement Scheme) since its inception in 2022, his trajectory led him to become a Youth Advisor for the World Health Organization, specifically as a member of the Youth Advisory Group for the Office on Quality of Care and Patient Safety. Today, as a member of the SNF Global Youth Advisory Council, he continues to bridge the gap between grassroots origins and international impact, collaborating to make positive, sustainable change in child and adolescent mental health.
