Sibongile Monareng

Ms. Sibongile Monareng is the Director for Psychosocial Support at the Department of Basic Education in South Africa. She leads national programs that promote mental health literacy, resilience, and psychosocial wellbeing among learners and educators. With a strong background in education and counseling, she is committed to creating safe and supportive school environments across South Africa. Ms. Monareng was ordained as a pastor in her church and believes that faith and creativity play a vital role in promoting holistic wellbeing.
