Serah Makka

Serah Makka is the Executive Director for Africa at The ONE Campaign, where she leads strategic advocacy to drive social and economic transformation across the continent. With over 20 years’ experience in governance, advocacy, and financial inclusion, she has advanced policies empowering women, youth, and underserved communities. A Desmond Tutu Fellow and Global Top 35 Under 35 honoree, Serah is an expert in development finance, strategic philanthropy, and policy reform. She serves on the boards of Advokc, Resilience Action Network Africa, and the Institute for Public Policy Research. She holds a master’s in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School.
