Lamin Kanu Jalloh
Undergraduate at the American College of Greece
Lamin Kanu Jalloh is a young activist, fashion designer, and supporter of immigrant and refugee populations. Having previously worked with a number of organizations that aid displaced children and young people, he blends creativity and purpose to elevate voices that aren't heard and encourage healing via expression.
Motivated by a strong dedication to mental health, Lamin is presently pursuing a degree in psychology at the American College of Greece to enhance his capacity to develop significant, community-based solutions in the area. His work connects activism, art, and wellbeing, with a special emphasis on the particular difficulties faced by young people who have experienced trauma, migration, or social isolation.
Lamin believes in promoting resilience and increasing awareness through storytelling, fashion, and grassroots involvement. He thinks that cultural identification and lived experience may be powerful instruments for individual and group change.
