Kate Daudy

Conceptual artist

Kate Daudy is a British conceptual artist celebrated for her large-scale public interventions and poetic use of language. Working across film, sound, sculpture, and installation, her practice explores questions of our time, inviting audiences to reflect on the choices we make, and our engagement with one another. In 2024–25, Daudy was a Fellow at Columbia University’s Institute for Ideas and Imagination in Paris, where she developed "Telling the Bees," a project tracing humanity’s relationship with honey and bees. This will culminate in a major exhibition and lecture series in Paris. She is also preparing a major show and publication for the Centro Federico Garcia Lorca in Granada. Her impact has been recognized globally: Louis Vuitton named her one of 200 “visionaries” defining our age. Critic Marina Warner has praised her work as “disruptive yet full of optimism.” In March 2025, Sorbonne University in Paris hosted a retrospective of her work, accompanied by a month-long lecture series and forthcoming publication. Daudy frequently works with Nobel Prize–winning physicist Kostya Novoselov.
