Guillermo Chantada

Dr. Guillermo Luis Chantada, MD, PhD, is a pediatric oncologist in charge of the outreach program of the Pediatric Cancer Center Barcelona at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, Spain, and the scientific director of the Fundación Pérez Scremini in Montevideo, Uruguay. He is the immediate Past President of the International Society of Pediatric Oncology. He was President of the Latin American Society of Pediatric Oncology. He is the director of the TeLeo Platform, a web based educational resource for pediatric oncology in Latin America. His areas of research are mainly devoted to retinoblastoma, new therapies in neuroblastoma and lymphomas where he published more than 200 papers in the medical literature.
