Eleni Kovaiou

Eleni Kovaiou was born in Piraeus. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Crete and completed her postgraduate studies in Modern Greek Literature at the same university and at the University of Hamburg. From 1995 to 2022, she was in charge of the Closed Collections of the University of Crete Library and since 2023, she's been its director. Her name is associated with the Anemi Digital Library of Modern Greek Studies, as she was a founding member and the main curator of many of its collections.
