President and Founder of the Hero Community Program, Inc.,

Duane Dieter is the Founder and President of the Hero Community Program, Inc. and has devoted more than four decades to empowering under-resourced youth facing challenges such as abuse, peer pressure, and criminal influences. Through mentorship, educational opportunities, and structured activities, he and his team help young people build confidence, resilience, and self-esteem while strengthening family and community connection.

Duane has had a major impact on so many men, women, and children of diverse ages, backgrounds, and physical abilities throughout this time. He has established numerous community programs supporting youth and victims of violence, along with special events designed to strengthen family bonds and promote community cohesiveness.

In the Hero Program, youth participate in fun, realistic simulations that mirror real-life challenges, gaining tools to resist peer pressure, avoid substance abuse, and make responsible choices in that "critical moment." Supported by dedicated staff and mentors, participants develop courage and clarity to rise above negative influences and become "everyday heroes" in their own lives and communities.
