Cleopatra Chisanga

Cleopatra Chisanga is an education champion and climate-smart leader from Mpika district in Zambia, inspiring change in her local community and around the world. After completing school with support from CAMFED (Campaign for Female Education), Cleopatra trained to become an Agriculture Guide and launched her own sustainable agri-business. In her role, she supports young women and other members of her community to implement techniques such as crop-rotation and water conservation, which improve yields and drought resilience, increasing food security. In addition to sustainable farming techniques, Cleopatra runs sessions on climate change and is championing tree planting and encouraging her community to explore alternative cooking fuels instead of cutting trees for charcoal. As a Global Partnership for Education Youth Leader for 2025-6, she is a role model for countless other young people. Continuing on her own learning journey, Cleopatra is currently pursuing a degree in Public Administration in order to grow her influence further.
