Alessandro Blasimme

Dr. Alessandro Blasimme is a Senior Scientist and Lecturer in Bioethics at ETH Zurich's Health Ethics & Policy Lab. Holding a PhD in Bioethics, he focuses in his research on the ethical and policy challenges arising from biomedical innovation and digital health. Dr. Blasimme's scholarship operates at the critical intersection of normative bioethics and empirical research, providing conceptually robust yet practically relevant frameworks for the governance of Big Data, AI, precision medicine, and regenerative medicine in health research and care. A key intellectual contributor to the exhibition organized by ETH Zurich at SNF Nostos 2026, he ensures the project's ethical grounding is sound by applying his expertise in developing governance strategies for emerging technologies.
