Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein's keynote address will explore how moments of profound uncertainty can become catalysts for breakthrough when nations commit to a shared purpose. Drawing on a lifetime of multilateral engagement, Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein will reflect on how unity in multilateralism serves as a powerful engine for progress, turning division into cooperation, deadlock into dialogue and ambition into a lasting global architecture.

The speech will highlight lessons from complex negotiations that reshaped the international system. From his role in advancing the Rome Statute, to the recent breakthroughs represented by the updated International Health Regulations and the landmark Pandemic Agreement, he will underscore how patient, value-driven leadership, through the support of right actors, can translate bold ideas into durable global frameworks.

Meaningful progress is rarely immediate, rather, it is built through persistence, principled compromise, and institutions designed to serve generations to come. By focusing on what we can achieve together and transforming hope into action, we unlock the courage and creativity needed to build a more resilient, equitable, and humane future.
