This year, in collaboration with journalism non-profit iMEdD (incubator for Media Education and Development), the SNF Nostos Conference has been designed so that every voice can make itself heard. We all need to be cocreators, to participate, to share our thoughts and our ideas—especially young people, who have a special stake in the future of public health.

That is why we have created this glossary. Specialized terminology and professional jargon should not stand in the way of open discussion, and we should all share a common starting point, whatever our age, background, or profession. We want to encourage active listening and free-owing dialogue. Because the struggle for better health takes all of us, together.
