She worked in the Department of Anaesthesia of the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for 18 years. During these years she was one of the most vibrant and dynamic consultants in the hospital and participated in many high level and risky surgeries including renal transplants, liver resections, adrenalectomies and brachytherapy for Cancer of the Prostate.

At Korle Bu, she was in charge of anesthesia for neurosurgery and played a key role in the management of complex adult and pediatric neurosurgical cases including complex spine surgeries, craniotomies (including awake craniotomies.). Dr Wulff was actively involved in the care of patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and was the in charge physician of the ICU for a 2-year period. The wealth of experience gained in the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital over the 18-year period equipped her to take up the position of Chief of Anesthesia of FOCOS Orthopaedic hospital in 2014. She is considered the most experienced in the nation and perhaps in the West Africa sub-region in the administration of Total Intravenous Anesthesia (TIVA) for intraoperative neuro-monitoring in major spine deformity reconstruction. Dr Wulff became the Associate Medical Director of FOCOS hospital in 2017 during which she chaired the Blood Transfusion Committee, QA Committee and was in charge of all the other hospital committees which she restructured to become more effective and in line with the vision and mission of the hospital.

Dr Wulff took up the position of Medical Director in March of 2020 and steered the course of the hospital through the tumultuous COVID-19 pandemic. COVID-19 prevention protocols were put in place to ensure the hospital remained open throughout the period and stages of the pandemic. Patients received safe treatment amidst strict medical protocols and evolving treatment guidelines for infectious disease management. Her astute managerial acumen has enabled the hospital’s scope of practice to expand despite the trying times. Under her leadership, initiatives implemented include intensive marketing which has resulted in a massive increase in OPD numbers, surpassing those seen prior to COVID-19. Fixed cost has also been contained. Currently, she is the CEO of FOCOS Hospital and spearheading the attainment of JCI accreditation in 2023.

Her goal is to be a role model for women in leadership and to always make a difference.
