Capoeira

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art, a form of cultural expression that contains elements of dance, acrobatics, music, and philosophy. Through dance and by following simple, basic movements to the accompaniment of music, participants will be introduced to the culture of this art. The session will be followed by a demonstration of advanced techniques, live music (Bateria), and show of acrobatics. The presentation is intended for all ages.
